Power Platform Developer I

Key Responsibilities

 

Solution Development & Delivery

· Design, develop, and deploy solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven apps) and Power Automate.

· Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.

· Develop solutions leveraging Microsoft Dataverse and other enterprise data sources.

· Ensure solutions align with performance, usability, and security standards.

 

Automation & Integration

· Build robust workflows using Power Automate to streamline and optimize business processes.

· Integrate applications across Microsoft 365, external systems, and APIs.

· Design reusable components and connectors to improve development efficiency.

 

Data & Analytics

· Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.

· Implement data modeling practices to support reporting and operational insights.

· Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across solutions.

 

Governance, ALM & Best Practices

· Follow and contribute to enterprise governance standards, including environment strategy, security, and naming conventions.

· Support Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), including solution packaging, deployment pipelines, and version control.

· Ensure compliance with organizational security and data protection policies.

 

Operations & Support

· Provide support and maintenance for existing Power Platform solutions.

· Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.

· Optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.

 

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

· Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to gather and refine requirements.

· Provide technical guidance and recommendations on solution design.

· Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

 

Required Qualifications

 

· 3–5 years of experience in Power Platform development, application development, or related roles.

· Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).

· Experience working with Dataverse, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

· Solid understanding of data modelling, relational data concepts, and business process automation.

· Experience integrating with APIs and external systems.

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

· Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

· Experience with advanced Power Platform capabilities (custom connectors, plugins, or PCF controls).

· Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or TypeScript.

· Familiarity with Azure services and integrations.

· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

· Microsoft certifications (PL-100, PL-200, or equivalent).
